Upcoming 100k mile service -- what do I need to do?

Hello everyone,

I have a R52 05 MCS JCW with 93k miles on the clock. I got her when she had 62k and she's been nothing buy a joy.

In the meantime, the next major service internal is coming up, and I'd like to know what to do -- so I can prepare and buy the stuff so when the car ticks over 100k, I can get started on her.

I know I need to do something about the supercharger -- what do I need to do? Replace the gears? Lubricate/refill the SC oil? Replace the water pump?

What about the timing chains or belts? Hoses?

Wheel bearings? Brake lines? Convertible top hydraulic lines? etc?

Any advice is appreciated.

Well, so far I have priced out the following...

2x GM Eaton Supercharger oil
Throttle body O ring
Supercharger duct O ring
Water pump O ring
New belt
Coolant flush
Engine oil and filter
Cabin air filter
Possible intake air filter (I have to find out which one I have...the round one or the flat one, since my car is JCW)
Possible brake flush (still undecided)

I'm a DIY and I have access to shop lift, so I'll be doing the work myself.

Anything else I need to do?

Well you're on the right track I've learned that anything you take off that has a gasket replace it with a new one.
I have a 2002 Cooper S so I'll address everything I did hopefully it helps. I also replaced every nut and bolt I took off with new stronger bolts. 10.9 grade grade 8 should be plenty though.

Bought the recharger kit from imperialmini.com.
Removed the supercharger inspected it installed the recharger changed the oil on both sides of the supercharger.
Replaced water pump
Replaced thermostat

Reinstalled it

Replaced intake duct gasket ( green one )
Replaced throttle body gasket
Replaced belt
Replaced belt tensioner
Replaced crankshaft position sensor o-ring
Replaced dipstick o-ring
Replaced oil pan gasket
(Magnum gaskets) is the brand I used get a torque wrench and be sure to torque to factory specs. Someone over tightened mine and that's what caused it to leak.

Replaced gear oil
Flushed brake system
Replaced axle boots cause I had some starting to wear
Replaced inner outter tie rod ends
Replaced control arm bushings
Upper and lower ball joints
Flushed the cooling system
I replaced my radiator with a all aluminum mishimoto radiator

I think that's it
Here are some links to help

( make sure it comes with the adapter to attach to the brake reservoir )

( best stuff ever for sliding the water pump in and all other gaskets ESPECIALLY the supercharger intake tube! )

Your list sounds exactly like my replacements. Don't forget spark plugs and wires. I would put on a new idler pully with the tensioner. While your doing the control arm bushing replace your struts on all four corners. I thought mine were still good at 125k until I replaced them out of guilt. What a difference! Struts don't have to leak oil to be worn out. Most are done at 75 to 100k
