fault code wont go away! errrrrrrrr

Have two codes that keep coming back at the same time. P0130 (upstream O2 sensor, P0128 (cooling) Shop replaced the O2 sensor with a NTK purchased from BMW. Driven and cleared several times since install with no luck. Any way other than a Mini dealer to know what version software I'm running? and what if any updates have been done. Purchased the Mini and year or so ago and have had no problems. Only mods so far are a one ball exhaust, 15% pulley and Alta air intake. Searched forums but no real answers as to a real fix. thanks

Did they clear adaptations? If you don't do that the o2 code will just keep coming back.

The other code is for a thermostat below temp. If they just replaced it make sure they put it in the correct direction. If you install them backwards the coolant flow will open it and the car will run cold.

Adaptations can be cleared by a few different scan tools. I'm sure the search function will turn up a list of known tools. We use the BMW factory tool so I cannot comment on what other tools do it also.
