Replacing front center spoiler/bumper trim

Hey all,

Just trying to breath some new life into my new (to me) '04 R53. Anybody ever replaced the front bumper spoiler/trim (oem part #51117130315; #3 in attached pic)?

I've searched the forum relentlessly looking for some DIY instructions. I'm specifically wondering if I can install without removing the bumper? I don't want to take my chances and break anything. It looks like it's just a bunch of screws on the bottom and then a series of clips. Once I remove the screws how easy is it to remove from the clips that hold the spoiler to the bumper cover (on top)and the engine protector thing (on the bottom)?

Would really appreciate some help here! Thanks!!

-Matt

It's very simple to do , most of the clips can be recycled. You should remove the bumper as it makes it much easier. I can take my bumper off in 10 minutes.
