Cam Tensioner Bolt Seal.

Cam Tensioner Bolt Seal.
Wife just returned from routine maintenance visit with dealer. They noted small oil leaks at the valve cover and the cam chain tensioner bolt. No problem replacing the valve cover but i can't seem to find any info on replacing the seal (crush washer?) for the tensioner bolt. Can anyone point me to a thread with some info on the process or a part number for the seal?

This is the only video I know of that shows what you're looking for. I had a Bentley manual when I had my mini and it was very helpful. I don't know of any written instruction other than what's in the Bentley manual. If the video doesn't help, just keep search but it should point you in the right direction.

Is it the actual tensioner (part 4 and 5) or is it the screw that holds the plastic guides in place?
If its the tensioner (4/5) I just replaced the whole tensioner, it has an aluminium washer (pelican part 11-31-7-631-972-M131 for an r56, N14) and its tensioned to something like 65Nm, w a 27mm socket. It's pretty easy to get to, on the back of the motor, pull off the airbox (MCS) and undo the hose clamps to remove the plastic wye charge air tube stuff, and it's right there. Be careful of the sensor that's right beside it.
if its the one that holds the plastic guides in place, i think its an allen key'd bolt that has a rubber o-ring to keep it from dripping. It'll be on the right (passenger) side of the motor, and I haven't messed with it, but imagine you can access it best by pulling the fender well. if its towards the front of the car it should be 11-31-7-534-771-M26 (gasket 11-31-7-534-770-M26) if its to the rear 11-31-7-534-768-M26 (o-ring 11-31-7-550-461-M131).
believe it or not, i don't work for pelican. i just shop there a bunch.
