Poll: CVT longevity with regular scheduled fluid change
I have a 2003 Cooper with CVT that is approaching 107,000 miles. The car has been regularly serviced by the original dealer since purchase, and the dealer has replaced the CVT at every Inspection 1 and 2 (which is around every 30,000 miles). Other than a rotation sensor failure, the CVT has been rock solid, and it still drives like it was when new (although I am never a big fan of its feel, but it works well for stop and go traffic, and is terrific in the winter).
As we all know, there has been many threads about CVT failure due to lack of maintenance (although the fluid change interval is clearly spelled out in the service booklet). So I would like a poll to segment out failure for properly maintained CVT, as far as I know, this has never been done in any prior thread, where they focus mainly on failure, or highest mileage regardless of maintenance record.
Question I have for all of you is, for those owners who properly maintain your CVT (which is fluid change at every Inspection), what is your mileage and have you had any CVT failure?
I am about to order a new car, and my big debate is whether I should trade the Cooper in. Everything in the car works great, the only reason to trade is to avoid potential CVT failure due to mileage and age.
Thanks in advance for your feedback

Btw, my CVT started shifting crazy and it became scary so that my daughter bought a new MINI. I was determined to fix it and after an amazingly tough troubleshooting job, found that it was related to the Tachometer. No kidding. I probably spent $2000 working on it and then unplugged the Tachometer and it was fixed. It has something to do with CanBus communication interruptions.
I got a used Tach on eBay and it has been fine for many months.
