Car says passenger door Ajar, but it is Aclosed
Started having this problem on Tuesday, I searched the forums a bunch but didn't find anything on this particular problem.
So what happens is that the passenger door thinks it is open, alarm chimes, tachometer shows that the passenger door is open, and then it dips the window. Then a second later, the warning goes away and then the window goes up. Then a few seconds later it start all over again.
It stopped tuesday night, then started again yesterday afternoon and apparently happened all night since the battery was dead this morning.
I am thinking it might be a loose wire on the door sensor but I am worried it might be something in a computer module. Let me know if anyone has run across this or not.
