Installed new belt still squealing. Help please.

Two weeks ago we had a belt party and my buddie helped me install a new Gates 60547 on my 2003 MCS 100% stock 89k miles. (he has done it many times with the correct tools)

We noticed right away after getting the new belt on that the tensioner pulley did not show "any" hole. which is strange because the belt I pulled off was also a gates 60547 and had one full hole. (it squealed really bad)

so perhaps I just got a bad belt that was made wrong. or something else is wrong? because I noticed it is starting to squeal again.

Not sure where to go from here. new belt?

The correct size for a stock pulley is a Gates 60545. The 60547 is too long.

Where did you get your info? the next size down from a k060547 is a k060539 according to gates website.

I am not doubting you, but I would like to see a link so I can order one if that is the case.
