Backup Sensors not working

Hi all,

I have an '05 R52 MCC and my backup sensors stopped causing that beeping sound. Anyone know the fuse they are attached to? I don't think the backup switch is bad because the reverse lights do work. So I'm not sure what they're tied to. If anyone has any other thoughts let me know!

Thanks,

Rich

Hi,

Me and a friend had a similar problem, and it was the power steering fan that was actually burnt out, and it was blowing the fuse. The back-up sensors are on the same fuse as the power steering fan. So if the fuse is burnt, get the fan checked and replaced if necessary as well. If the fan is out for too long, the power steering motor will go next, and that is far more expensive to fix.

Great, thanks! Yeah the 5 amp fuse was blown. I'll keep an eye on the fan as well, thanks for the heads up.

Time to get a Bentley manual!
