When my wife parked her 2005 Cooper and went into work this morning, she reported that the passenger foglight was on.
Apparently after took much switching, and on-and-offing, etc. the light went out.
Anyway, the foglights were not on this morning (the headlights were) and the offending light remained on even though the car was off, the key was out of the ignition, and the little light on the toggle switch was out.
Anybody have any ideas as to what might cause this oOr what to do? I don't want her stranded with a drained battery.
I thought there weren't any Lucas electrics on these cars!
For what it's worth, it's a 2005 "just-a" Cooper, these are the factory fogs.
s
ounds like the switch crapped out and you gotta replace it . so till then you can either pull the bulbs or pull the wire feeding the switch .
duh or ,sry i failed to think if rthere's a fuse for them alone just pull it out till new switch comes in .
