Seafoam question

soo i decided to try some seafoam!

cause im changing my oil and spark plugs this weekend.

i got these instructions off of here

"pour 1/3 in the tank. 1/3 in the oil ( 500 miles before an oil change, MAKE SURE YOU DO AN OIL CHANGE WITHIN 500 MILES ) 1/3 in a vacuum line. Pull the line off of the pcv valve and suck it from the bottle slowly. the car will want to start to stall out so slow down if that happen. once you put atleast 1/3 the bottle into the engine shut it off and let it sit for 10-15 mins. start the car up and let the smoking begin. after most of the dark clouds of smoke have gone, take it for a decent ride to get anything else."

I just need to know where PCV valve is.. or which one? where its located? pics or directions on the generally area where it is would be apprciated!

thanks

you dont really need to put it in the oil . you can and i did ,but it'll serve better if 50/50 tank/motor . go sloooooow but not too slow.
the pcv valve is on left looking at engine. this is considered the front of the engine . look at valve cover(black cover you pour oil in ). on the left end is a black plug like valve with a 90 degree angled piece of hose coming off it . this is the pcv valve . pull the grey hose from it ; this grey hose is where you slowly add the seafoam . you can let the engine suck it from the bottle or make a funnel and slooooowly add it .

I just add it to my gas. If you know you have a severe build-up issue or driveability issue, or perhaps a rough idle, adding half through a vac line or pcv might make sense.

I have run Seafoam through the brake booster on my wifes jeep. It had a rough idle and it solved the issue. You suck up at least half of the can through the vacuum and then suck up enough to stall the car, or if it comes close to stalling but won't have a helper shut the car off for you. Then let it sit for 15 minutes and start the car. It will smoke like crazy for about 5 minutes. You will look ridiculous, so if you live around other houses I would do it somewhere else.

However, I am not sure I will do this on the mini though...
