Engine Hot, Then Overheating! Help!

Hello. So i have 50000kms on my 07 MCS. This morning i drove 2kms and then it says my engine is hot (the symbol blinking yellow). 1 more km, it starks blinking red (engine over heating, pull over).

I managed to cool it down, wait a while, put the heaters on and ac off and got it home. Its the long weekend here in Toronto, Canada, so i held off on calling mini because the car would just sit there and id rather have it in my own garage.

What is the problem right now? Its still under warranty till 80 000 i believe. Is the radiator not working? I dont think im leaking any coolant, i checked, i'll check again tommorow. I heard the radiator might have seized or is not working.

Had it flatbedded today. They couldnt figure out the problem, but so far theres no pressure to the coolant. The service advisor said it might be the water pump, and some other problems that lead from that. Thank god for warranties!!!

They did on the other hand give me a Pontiac G5 for $15 until my car is ready. Not sure if i'd rather buy a bike from a garage sale with my $15...
