Early Build 07 MCS's

Just wondering whom else has been happy with there early build 07 MCS(1/07), for the exception of the "Cold start issue/engine wants to leave car", the "airbag issue", and the "carbon build up issue"......... I just LOVE this car, GREAT on gas, goes like HELL, handles better than any thing else I have driven(in 30 years), just recently lost faith. I need a reliable car and don't want to give up my Mini!!!!!!! My MCS currently has 38,446.......advise??????????

I have a pair of '07 MCS coupes - his and hers. Mine (very early '07 production number) just turned over 30,000. Only problems so far have been one flat tire and the timing chain tensioner issue. The complete repair package (SIM-11-02-07) was done Jan '09, and no reoccurance of the start-up rattle since then. Her car (mid-year) has had zero problems.

Both cars do have the dashboard rattle in front of the tach gauge on rough pavement, which seems to be common to second generation models, judging by the comments here and the UK forums. And all 8 run-flat tires slowly lose air pressure, and need to be topped off monthly.
