FOB startup TROUBLEEE

Ok well my car has been working all day and I go to leave work so I plug the FOB in and it feels like it goes in alittle weird. The lights on the dash came up for a second then go off. So I try to push the FOB in to get it out and its stuck in there but the key and the slider peice its stuck on wiggles back and forth. So I got pissed and pulled the key out. So now if I ever plug it in, it gets stuck and does the same thing but now none of the dash lights come on, cant lock the doors, cant start the engine, and of course its at my work very far from a mini dealership.:mad :

Sorry for the novel has anyone heard fo anything like this??

So you're saying you only have the "Door Key" in hand, the rest of the FOB is still stuck in the Slot?? Did you put the FOB in upside down?? I've tried doing that on occassion, but luckily I've noticed what I was trying to do before I forced the FOB into the slot.

I'm not sure there is anything you can do other than have your MINI Flat Bedded to your Local Dealer.

No I have the entire key/ FOB in hand. Its when you put the fob in it does not lock in or light up the dash. The place that you put the fob into is loose and slides back and forth. I guess I will just have to let mini take care of it hopefully warrenty covers it.
