High Pressure Fuel pump

I have been having cold start issues with my 09mcs,My dealer told me that replacing the High Pressure Fuel Pump will solve this issue.Has anyone had this done and had good results?....Peter

What kind of issues are you having starting the car from cold.

Get another opinion. I don't see how a valvetrain problem has anything to do with fueling.

I had that problem. The car would fail to start on first try/second try and then it started. It did this cold or not, first try of the day. When it started it ran fine, no noisy clattery stuff at all. Finally it just wouldn't start at all.
