hi
i have a rubber sounding squeek from the clutch pedal.
i have traced the sound to the black rubber boot located at the bottom of the clutch pedal.
can ayone tell me if it is safe to spray lube inside this boot.
my car has 28000 miles on the clock and my clutch is fine.
I have a squeek as well. Is there an update on the problem?

Just had this problem fixed on my 06' MCS. Fortunately, mine was covered under warranty. They replaced the clutch assembly, as well as some bushings in the bell housing of the transmission.
I would bring it into the dealership, they are usually pretty lenient with cars with mods (so long as you don't have anything that would affect the clutch).
