MCS Radiator Fan Won't Shut Off

I was on a business trip when my 03 MCS radiator fan broke. I brought it to a repair shop and had it replaced with a complete new fan assembly. Everything was perfectly fine until I got it home last weekend and now everytime I turn the car off the fan continues to run. So whenever I park the car I have to unplug the fan. I checked out out yesterday and replaced a couple fuses but have not solved the problem. The only thing I can think it could be is the sending unit may have shorted. Does anyone have any ideas? Also where is the sending located on the mini. Thanks in advance.

My 03 MCS just started having this problem as well. As far as I can tell the relay needs replaced and "I think" it is located "as you are looking directly down at the radiator" on the left hand side of the fan shroud. I'll be taking my car appart tonight to confirm part numbers but from what I have herd, you (we) might need to replace the entire fan assembly. Please let me know how you progress on yours.

Curtis

Let me know how it goes. If you need a fan assembly I have a extra brand new one sitting in the box.
