Possible inexpensive PS fan replacement

I just bought an 03 MCS that has the power steering issue. The cooling fan was siezed and the power steering goes out intermittently. A fan is available from Spal (the original supplier) that will probably work just fine. Has anyone else tried a cooling fan that didn't come from the dealership? I also found two companies that rebuild the PS pump. BBA Remanufacturing costs $200, The Rebuilding Factory costs $145. Does anyone have experience with The Rebuilding Factory?
TIA,
Mike

Both of them require that you send your part to them to be rebuilt rather than doing an exchange. They both have said they can rebuild the pump.
