Who does a quality oil change?

I gave away my set of ramps a few months before buying our '03 MINI.

The shop I bought the car from did an oil change before the sale, but I'm sure it's gotta be conventional oil. So other than schlepping to the dealer, who does (and equally important - who does not) a quality job on synthetic change & filter? Comments, good or bad, about the usual suspects (Jiffy, Vavoline)?

[Edit: upon further reading of some of the DIY threads, it sounds like the usual suspects qualifies as a Bad Idea.]

Right, the best way to get a good change is DIY!

I have been taking my 03 to Kirkwood auto for a couple of years now. Oil changes, brakes, inspections. I buy the oil filter from dealer, then Brad, the owner, will use whatever oil you want.

I go to these guys for all my work. They only work on BMW's and MINIs.
