I've worked up a new rallye route for the community and Mark, I think Lois, and I are going to give it a Beta Test on Sat 5/30 starting at 9:00A
Route starts at Grays Summit & 44. From there winds down past Meremac State Park to Hwy 32 and then winds back up through the backroads ending at Hwy 30 & 141. I'm *guessing* about 5 hours drive time. With Lunch and pit stops add another 1.5 hour
This is not a 'official' st. louis mini club event, whatever 'official' is.
All are welcome though. Since it's a Beta Test there will likely be some stops and starts hence the "Beta" test
If interested drop me a email at tgs91@sbcglobal.net and I'll get you a copy of the route map w/ instructions.

WOOOHOOO what a blast, I'm worn out! We had a great time, found some great twistys, ate an excellent lunch and made a few wrong turns on our way to an excellent day of motoring! Now it's time to clean the MINI.

Lesson learned-As much as "Lick Skillet Rd" and "Pigeon Roost Rd." sound appealing looking on a map of Franklin County.......1) u ain't likely gonna find a road sign for it and 2) IF you do, it's no kinda road I'm takin' my MINI down!
We stuck to letters and numbers and had a rip snortin' good time.
If you make it down Caledonia way the Oak Creek Cafe' is well worth the stop
Thanks Tony and Susan for a awesome game of follow the leader 'MINI style'! YeeeeeeHaaaa!!

I need to re-do the route map that I shared with you removing all the gravel roads, etc and I'll get it over to Dan Heubner. After that I'll leave it in his capable hands
Also working on a 'great river route' basically from Columbia, IL to Cape Girardeau and back.
Plenty of cool motoring ahead
I'll be at the Social Hour, maybe talk then?

Let us know if you want/need help in the Cape Girardeau region. We live less than an hour southwest of Cape.
We're working on another rallye in our area, but not the Cape area (we did one last year) so the runs shouldn't overlap and folks can have more motoring fun.
