Speaker upgrade for a MCS 07' - suggestions?

I'm debating my next mod to be either new 18" wheels with tires or replacing the piss poor stock speakers.

As far as the speakers...........

Mine came with the NON HK stereo. I figured I'd be doing a upgrade from the get go so the HK upgrade didn't make much sense. From what I'm reading on the HK it sounds like I made the right call.

As far as the headunit it seems to do a pretty good job. Which from my thinking is a good thing cause it looks like replacing it and placing a new unit in place of OEM would be near impossible with all the integrated controls in the dash, size of digitial read out specific to opening in speedometer housing, etc. Anybody out there change this out?

Main reason for my post it that I have seen a rundown of how to change out the speakers and it sounds like a royal Pain in the A55. After putting car stereo in my first car (a turd brown 72 Dodge Polara Wagon mind you) I swore I would leave this the professionals. I'd like to find a shop that has a idea of what it takes to work on Mini's

I'd like to change out all 6 (2 door and rear) and maybe add a sub. (I understand from Jeremy at Mini of St. Louis there is space under the front seat if you don't have Navi)

Anybody do a upgrade with a local car stereo shop? Recomendations?
