WANTED: I'm looking for a dark colored MINI with lots of swirls in the paint.
I need it for one long day (14 to 16 hours), and in exchange your car will be detailed by me. I'm not looking for a show car, or even a modded one for that matter, but I'm also not looking for a severely neglected MINI with dents, exposed metal, and curb rash. If you know of such a MINI in the Los Angeles/Orange County area, please PM me.
This is for an upcoming "Polishing" video I'm working on. If you got a MINI that fits this description and you're able to hang out or leave the car with me for an entire day at my shop in Placentia (57/91) then PM me.
Thanks
Richard

The paint is about 99% intact - there are a few scratches and blemishes, 61K on the ODO - what do you expect - and it is swirl city in many places.....
I'd love to have you work on Malibu Stacy, but she hasn't really been neglected. I'm sure there are other MINIs who need it more. Stacy just really enjoys a spa day!

It was good meeting you. I was completely wiped out after the shoot. Not because I was tired from working on your car but because I was fighting the flu. I kept telling myself, I just had to survive the day, lol. So that's why I've been on my back since then trying to recover.
Also a big thanks to Paul, and the other Paul for bringing your cars out, oh and to Sheryl and Jeff from c3 for your help.
Alright now on to my other 93 emails.....

octaneguy, we're definitely gonna have to setup a time/place for you do work your magic on my DS '06 JCW.......
We set a wrap time of 12:30 midnight, but ran till about 1:15am. Tim was sleeping in his car outside! By the time we got him out, and ready to go home, it was about 2:30AM for me, and it was raining all the way home. Hope Tim didn't get caught in that rain.
I'll post some pix--got to go take a look at them.

Richard - glad to hear you got the car finished. I imagine you were up pretty late getting Tim's car done.
Everything except for that black bookcase and the convertible top along the right wall was packed in my MINI for todays shoot.
Here's Tim's 2005 HB MCS. It didn't look that bad from here.
Here's Paul's MINI. He looks even minier than his MINI.
Here's the other Paul's MC--Bruiser.
Sheryl arriving in her gleaming MCS that I had worked on a few weeks ago--still looking sharp!
We started the day off with a good wash, I got the owners involved, and showed them some of my magical tools like Meguiar's Wheel Brightener.
