Every now and then I see a LY/B Cooper S on the 110 freeway. and a lot of times we tend to travel in the same direction. now MINI's are pretty rare around Compton (where I work) let alone a LY/B. whose that?
Oh yes, on occasion I see a CR MINI with a checkerboard roof on the 110 at around 8:00 in the morning guy driving has a beard. Who are you?
And one time, I Drag raced an SG Cooper on the 105to the 110 headed downtown. both of us smoked our tyres (I guess, ASC was off on both) at 8:00am when the light turned green. (that was fun by the way Du.) 15ft race.. well I guess more of a burnout contest.
on a roll this morning...actually saw 2 about 15 minutes apart!
1st was another VR, but black roof, not white. Turning from Birch to Bristol in Newport Beach
2nd was a BRG/BRG MCS on Irvine in Newport Beach (heading towards the airport).
I waved at both. The girl in the MC smiled back :evil:
ok today i was at 24 Hour Fitness in Thousand Oaks and as i was leaving and pulled out and drove down my aisle i saw a Dark Silver / White Top MCS w/ a magnaflow and the license plate "PCT RKT" or "PCKTRKT" im not sure, something to that extent of "Pocket Rocket"
This is my best one so far, it was a couple weeks ago.
I was coming up to the signal at Windsor and Woodbury in Altadena. I see a silver S coming from the
other direction. Just as I honk, I see a hand go up from the steering wheel to wave. Then I see that the
driver is a woman who had to be about 80. She had silver hair, and those huge black glasses that wrap
around you head. It was awesome! The best part was the way she waved, I'm not even sure she looked at
me. She just raised her hand straight up and kept moving, she had motoring to do!
I've been seeing an all new, all black MCS (no lic. plates yet, just the ALEXANDER sign on it) running around 6th street in the Hancock Park area between Wilton and Fairfax for a coupla weeks now. Always around 7:15 in the AM. Of course i'm always seeing the boot since it just blazes past two lane traffic (so much for braking in the engine!) Nice tints, modified white tail lights; it's just tight - "Tight like a TIGER"!!!
Who is this Mystery MINI S in Black? In a coupla weeks i'll be taking delivery of my Biggles (Chili Red MCS/White) and hopefully I'll meet mr. black on that same stretch of road for my morning commute. Once again, a nice (and TIGHT!) looking MCS!!!

Saw at the Ventura auto show a few weekends ago. Mother of pearl paint job with really cool flames, the interior is immaculate as is in the engine compartment (injected 1100). Anyway, it was pretty sweet.

Okay, Let me count the ways over the past 2 weeks, I have seen many, many MC's and MCS's...
Topanga at Nordhoff across the street from Baja Fresh, a CR S works there... On the 118 a black with white roof MC, I see you a lot as we have the same commute route (118, 405, 5) A EB/W with Universla paper plates in Palmdale on 25th west headed north, a cr/w going north on the 14... WE'RE EVERYWHERE, MAN!!!
However, I see no-one here has listed me????

1. Loma Alta and Lake Ave. in Altadena. Way up at the top. It was yellow with a wavy checkered top, checkered sides, and a checkered stripe down the center of the bonnet. Parked on Loma Alta. Going for a hike on the Sam Merril Trail I suspect. You were about 3 blocks from my house!
2. IB/Black MCS with chrome wheels. Turning right onto Altadena Dr. from New York Dr. by Eaton Canyon. You saw me too. It was a mini moment.
3. EB/Black Getting on the 210 freeway East from Baldwin Ave. You were 2 cars back from me at the signal.
All three were between 10:30 and 11:00 AM while I was going from my house to the freeway.
Are there any other Altadena Minis on this board? I see you around town.
