About to take the plunge!

Hey folks! I've been sitting back reading the forum for about 2 months waiting on my car to sell and finally it sold last Friday!!! YEA! I can now order my MINI! I'm still debating on which dealership to deal with. I live in Birmingham and I read some of the post about the two dealerships in Atlanta and I have actually talked to a fella in Nashville and he seemed to know what he was talking about. Any more feedback on dealerships would be nice and I would also like to find out more info on the BAMA club. Oh, another thing I almost forgot how can I get a look at the colors offered on the 2005 S models.
Thanks,

Can't wait to be motoring in a Mini!

Yay!!!

Hey dls, that's awesome!!! Plunge on in...the motoring's great!!!!!!

If I were buying a MINI now, I'd have a real tough time selecting from the new colors. I can't quite get a good read on hyper-blue or purple-haze. Best sunlit purple-haze shot I saw ( I THINK it was purple-haze) was in one of the new MINI-UK commercials...the "lassie come home" one. Ya kinda have to cobble an impression from many sources under diverse lighting conditions. The cabrio's orange is pretty straight forward, IMO. I LOVE the body-colored dash/interior trim treatment.

Good luck!!!!

Welcome dlsmini. I'm in Burningham too and know most of the MINI people around town that are active in the local club and racing scenes. I bought my MINI from Roadshow in Memphis, so you can add them to your list of "local" dealerships.

Rumor says that Tom Williams will be getting a MINI dealership in 2005, so we will finally have a local place to have our cars serviced.

If you want to meet some of the local MINI autocross racers, come out to the Birmingham Race Track (the dog track) for the next SCCA SoloII autocross this Sunday July 18.

Just put my deposit down for a new Cabrio at Roadshow in Memphis. No over MSRP My motoring advisor is Zac. He's been great. BTW, I'm from St Louis & have chose to go out of town for my next MINI for obvious reasons.

Thanks for the replys!
Have they put the 2005's on Miniusa yet? Last time I checked they still had the 04 cars and colors. Are the blue and purple the only new colors for 05? I suppose the dealers will have the colors pics in their literature, so I'll probably give some of them a call. Sorry I'm asking so many questions, but this is the first car that I have every ordered! I had 7 cars in the last 6 years that I have either bought off the lot or from someone, so I really want to be sure I love the color.
