RALLEY 3 - MARK YOUR CALENDAR – Saturday July 24 we will have a major driving event. We will meet in Crestwood then drive the back roads to Lexington for lunch followed by a tour on the quaint country roads around the horse farms. Thanks to Brad and Jason for putting this together. Saturday July 24th, 10:30am
South Oldham High School
5900 Highway 329 By-Pass. Crestwood, 40014
If you want to just do the Lexington leg of the drive or if you just want some great food, join up at Famous Dave's BBQ on Richmond Road in Lexington at 1 pm. We eat...and then we drive.
If all goes well, this should be loads of fun!
Everything is ready on my end. Looks like the weather might cooperate as well.
The meet last Saturday was a huge success and seems to have sparked some ideas for everyone. It's good to get the Louisville and Lexington groups together.
I live in Lexington and have family in Louisville, so I'm kind of a hybrid.
More events are being planned right now, so I'll post them here as info becomes available.
Hi,
I am new to the board and only had my MINI Coop for 2 weeks. I have a house in Lexington and an apartment in Ft. Thomas (work!). I would LOVE to start being involved with a local MINI group...? Any suggestions?
I am just sorry to have missed your event last weekend!
Please include me for next time!
I will post info about any upcoming events here, on a Yahoo group board, and a Louisville-based board as info becomes available. There are a couple of things already in the works. More info soon!
thx for the yahoo link ...didn't know about it.
MINI colors are IB/w/w/w with sunroof.
Still a temporary tag - hoping to get Blu Frnz when have to get the 'real deal'.
May make it to Tthe Bean Leaf but may not this weekend - have a 50th Bday party to attend...
Looking forward to meeting our local group!
I decided to leave the KY plate alone, take whatever the DMV gave me, and have some fun with the front plate since we don't have to have them. I've changed my front plate seen in the sig. picture to a silver on black version, but otherwise mine looks the same.
I'll probably drop by the Bean & Leaf tomorrow evening and see what's happening.
See ya around town!
