Saturday, March 27th - Unclaimed Baggage Center in Scottsboro, AL. Come one come all, take a drive and buy it all....
Convenient to Nashville, Chattanooga, Atlanta, Huntsville, etc....
Think of it as a huge flea market, pawn shop, and garage sale all under one huge roof. Anything and everything that you'd take on an airplane, ship on a truck, or send by sea that get's lost or is written off for damage to the insurance companies ends up here. Clothes, books, music, sporting goods, electronics, jewelry, etc.... you name it, it comes through here. Bargains galore, and tons of just strange and bizarre crap to amaze and confuse.
Come one come all and participate in the 2nd annual UBC MINI Challenge!
Rules - show up in a MINI, wearing a MINI shirt or hat, or just give me the secret MINI handshake and you are in. Then go and FIND the strangest possible thing you can among the aisles of the UBC. You don't have to buy it, just be the first to locate it and realize it's potential win factor. Judgeing will be by secret ballot, or mutual consensus.... whatever works out best. The winner wins NOTHING!
Last year's winner was Sam Johnson with his Spam Snowglobe. 2nd place was me, with the nacho cheese flavored douche bags.... I probably would have taken first place had I realized what they were BEFORE judgeing ended.
