I am looking for someone to send me a pic of a MINI on a curve with mountains in the background. Preferrably with the car in motion caught for the moment with a camera. I want to try to build a leaded stained glass window (tiffany style). I welcome all shots so I can have a variety to choose from. I would really like an "S", but I am not picky at this point. Send me what you've got. I will let you know how it turns out.

Harold,

I have tons of good MINI shots on my computer. I'll send you a few from the Tail of the Dragon.

Also, you may want to as Dave (DiD), one of the moderators here, as he has some great shots taken on twisty mountain roads in Colorado.

Edit: I just sent you a few pics. Let me know if you would like full-size files, as I made them small for email.

I would love to see some samples of your work, golfman. Working from a photo sounds pretty challenging.

Got others?

Thanks everyone for submitting your pics. They are truly awesome. I may have dreamed about the pic I am looking for, or maybe you have it or have seen it. It has a silver Cooper S following a curve to the left with the guard rail in the near background and other mountain peaks in the far background. It has some shy but the MINI is most prominent in the pic. It was really a great shot the likes of which I would like to try to reproduce in stained glass. I haven't tried doing cars in glass before but if you love your MINI then you gotta start with the first one. If you have the "pic of my dreams," or you have seen it and know how I could get it, please let me know. Thanks again for the great pics so far.

Harold, could this be the picture you are looking for? I'll keep looking to see if I can find a larger picture.

Steve, that's it. Now you gotta tell me where you found it and I will take it from there. I may be able to copy it to my PC. Thanks
