My wife and I are driving to the Atlanta area next week for Petit Le Mans. We'll be staying at the MAll of Georgia in Buford. Just wondering if there will be any other MINIs at the race. This will be our third year straight attending.
We'll be driving down in my new JCW.

I plan to be there. Have been going to Road Atlanta since the early 70s. We'll be staying up in the mountains close to Rabun Gap and driving down Fri and Sat.
It would be nice if they have parade laps the MINIs can join. They didn't last year, or not that I saw. The year before that they have a BMW corral. The MINIs were able to join them for parade laps.

There does not seem to be a BMW corral at all. I'm sure that'll change next year when Rahal-Letterman runs a pair of M3 GTRs.
We bought our tickets through Johnny O'Connell's charity, so we get passes to the Corvette Corral. We can't park with them nor do parade laps, but we do get the hospitality.
We'll plan to visit the Audi corral.

With the gas shortages, we're now discussing whether or not to even go. A friend from Billings, MT cancelled. He was due to fly to Atlanta, get a rental car, and stay in Gainesville.
