Hey, I live in Nashville and go to a weekly cruise in. Well now the people who hold the cruise in are having a show. I am usually the only MINI at these events and I want some company! If any body lives around Nashville and wants to go to a great benefit show with about 100 cars, this is a good one to make it to. Its a lot of fun, there are trophies, and I hope to see everyone there. The show will be held in the Toys R Us/Sonic parking lot in bellevue this Saturday. here's the link for more info-Bellevue Cruisers

Hey Sketch, my 'S' will be here in mid October. Me and a couple others are going to start a "club". We had the Z3 homecoming up here at the store the other day and I mentioned to my boss that we need to start doing something like that for Mini, anywho it will be a little while but we can start representing at these shows and things.

Yeahhh, woohoo! I can't wait, I will be in the club for sure. I am probably going to a show this weekend (9/6-9/7). I will start spreading the word, even though I am usually the only MINI at these car shows. Anyway, sounds great, glad to hear that something is starting up!!

Hey man, I sold a blue 'S' with a black top today to a guy that knows about that get together at Belvue mall, he said he would see you up there, his name is James. I started working on the web site tonight (it'll take me forever) but the club is going to be "MINIs of Nashville".

Oh, and does anyone know what's up with MINI of Nashville?

I haven't gone inside or talked to them there for a while, but whenever I drive by on the way to Hollywood27 the place looks deserted. No MINI's anywhere to be seen, except for a few that look like they are getting serviced and are parked in the back. Went by last night, and not a SINGLE MINI on the lot....

makes me worry a little bit....

All is well here, we had an awesome month and sold out. I think we had more out of state business than usual. As I type they are unloading a few 'S's and one or two Coopers. Unfortuantly mine is not here yet.

So, what can you tell about this AIM program.... I think that's the name I saw on your viewmaster box....

Being maniac about all things MINI, as others are here as well, I am sure it'd be interesting to hear about it.

I assume it's based on more than just sales.... good leads you generate, product and service sales perhaps? If I knew that buying some MINI swag from a motoring advisor rather than from some website or something could help them get closer to receiving a new car I'd be willing to do it....

the saddlebag thing for the boot looks interesting for instance....

Was good meeting you today too, went straight to target after leaving and bought some detailing stuff. Trying to get the wax stains off my trim and am about to put some meguirs gold tire dressing on as soon as they dry off.

I can't wait for the Chattanooga trip, we are heading down that Saturday night. The wife and I need a little break in a big way. I emailed a couple people yesterday and plan on calling some of my customers about it.

The Chattanooga drive has come together. It will be on November 9th starting at about 10:00 AM. We will drive through north Georgia up Lookout Mountain and have lunch at the Lookout Mountain Cafe. After lunch we will drive along the Tennessee River and over Signal Mountain and down into Chattanooga. It should be great fun. If you are interested in joining us please PM me and I will get back to you.

If you are going to come down in the morning you can meet ua all at the Conoco It is at the intersection of Three Notch Rd and Ga 2A. Take I 24 to Chattanooga then take I75 south to exit 350 Ga 2A Ft Oglethorpe At the end of the ramp go right about 1 mile to Three Notch Rd Turn left the Conoco is on the left. The meeting time is 9:30 we would like to be on the road as close to 10:00 as possible.

Hey guys, Especially you Jmonk...
I am looking into getting a mini and was wondering if you could answer me a few questions. I have pretty much already made up my mind and I want a fairly simple Base mini with the cvt transmission... with the miniusa car builder it came out to be 18,299.
1. I was wondering how much of a hassel it is to custom order one of these bad boys.
2. I plan on financing the car and was wondering how much you would sell a car that is MSRP 18,299, considering you had to custom order.
3. How long would it take to get the car if I placed an order?
4. How much of a deposit is required when someone orders one?

Ohh yea, Jmonk, I am pretty well off in the HTML area with complete working knowledge of Macromedia Studio MX 2004 including Flash MX 2004 and would be pleased to help you make a site with a "down home" feel to it.

Thanks a lot guys...

Andy

I think I can answer these pretty easily from my experience with ordering from Mini of Nahville.

1. It is not a hassle at all to order. Just let them know what you want, and they'll get it for you.

2. It does not cost any extra to order it, but I can assure that you won't get it either way for less than MSRP. The nice thing is...they won't charge you any over like many MINI dealerships do.

3. When you special order, it takes around 8 weeks on average.

4. Odering requires a down payment of $1,000.00. When the MINI comes in, you can make that a part of your full down payment.

...Hope that helps!

Hey Monkyman, why'd you and Josh have to go make fun of my new hottness with the BlingBliing wheels.... ain't you down with the latest styles?

For those that have no idea what I am talking about, I just picked up some fake spinner hubcaps from Walmart and put them on my JCW MCS and drove it over to the dealership, where I was mocked and humiliated by John and the rest of the crew hanging out back smoking...

I get no respect I tell ya!

almost always parked out back behind the Brentwood Post Office....

if you come in and see the fat window clerk who looks like he's really miserable that would be me. If I am rude to you please forgive me, I can't stand working the window and often times take it out on customers.

Just approach slowly and greet me by my handle, Norm..... or Normalizer....
