Street Survival Aug 8 PBIR Florida

Following is an email I received from the Everglades Chapter of BMW CCA. If you 've never participated in this program or have kids who are in need of just this type of driver training this is an excellent opportunity!

Everglades Chapter BMW CCA is hosting a Tire Rack Street Survival Teen Driving Program

at PBIR on Saturday Aug 8, 2009 –

We currently do not have enough students registered: We will have to cancel this event – IF we do not have 25 students registered by this Friday – July 24 - It is too costly to put on the event for less than 25 students.

The course is open to all ages 16 years old (must be 16 years of age on Aug 8, 2009).

If you have learners permit – you must have it for 6 months.

It is a one-day course with in-car instructors (the best): learning car control; breaking and use of a wet slippery surface to learn driving skills that will safe your life! It is an all day event from 7am till 4pm.

The cost is $60.00 per student: all the monies go to the Street Survival Teen Program sponsored by the BMW CCA Foundation and the SCCA Foundation.

All of our instructors and staff are volunteers.

IF you are interested or know of someone – with teens – or someone who could benefit from this course, please direct them to www.streetsurvival.org - to answer any questions and to register online.

Please feel free to pass this on!

Best Regards and thank you for your help,

Bobbi Lonsdale
