I am currently in Pennsylvania with a corporate move pending down into the Tampa area. I am a performance driving instructor as my "fun job." Anyway I need to find somewhere to continue my craft in the Tampa area or within a reasonable distance. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Well I got a response from the Porsche Club that their home track for the Suncoast region of Florida is Sebring, about 2 hours from Tampa. Maybe we can do some MINI events there.
Several of us in Sunshine MINIs have done events at Sebring, Homestead and even Daytona with the Porsche / BMW group.
Check out the forums for our local section of Bay Area MINIs on sunshineminis.org
There is also a track day section for the track junkies.
And you can check out all of the Porsche/BMW events on pboc.com
Most of the active Florida members post on Sunshine MINIs - join us!

...reviving this thread. I am a new Mini owner but I track a Porsche Carrera S with Suncoast Porsche Club and Chin Motorsports. I am an instructor and would be happy to answer any questions for anyone starting out. Sebring is my home track.
