SWFL Mini Mechanic?

I live in Fort Myers, FL and am tired of driving all the way over to the Ft. Lauderdale Mini Dealer to get my oil changed. Does anyone know a reliable mechanic who knows Minis in the Naples - Ft. Myers area?

Also - I would love a SWFL Mini Club started up down here. I see Minis everywhere but am shocked we don't have a club! Any recommendations on how to get a club started?

Ewsgogo, I just called David Harrison at Harrison Motorsports here in Atlanta, to see if he has knowledge of someone similar to him in your area. He works on my car. He's a BMW/MINI specialist. He's checking for you.

Maybe Sunshine MINIs will know of someone.

Also you might try PM'ing Bahamabart here on NAM. He's in Miami, but seems to be pretty knowledgeable.

Unfortunately, David has no suggestion.

here is an SSM thread w/ some contacts in the tampa area. i've heard good reports about e&l, and they offer mobile service. tampa isn't ft. myers, but it's closer than ft. lauderdale! http://www.sunshineminis.org/forums/...pic.php?t=6531
you might also want to pm Cabmeister on SSM. he is from ft. myers and has a pretty highly modded mcs. good luck.
