I am working on getting off that weekend as we speak. I get off work on Friday at 7 P.M., but may try to leave a little early. Have you already made hotel rsvp's? I may be coming up by myself on this trip.

My in-laws live up there so we will be staying at the hotel de in-law's.

Where are you working now? If you get off early enough we can all get together for dinner that night if you want.

I'm still stuck in hell (you know where) w/ no hopes of getting out. I am thinking about applying at a local store.

For those of us closer to NC than to Florence, you may want to take a look at
http://www.ccrscca.com/ for the April 3 Auto-X. I would love to head down to the double points event but for me that is a 3hr drive whereas Knights Stadium is right at 2hr.

The BMW event was great! 3 MINIs won a trophy!

Might be a longshot here but are any of you running in GS at the Florence autocross? I just ordered a 2005 MCS but it won't be in for the standard 6-8 weeks. I'd love to codrive someone's car to get some seat time in before mine gets here. I would offer a codrive in mine when it arrives in return.

If you'd like references: I've been autocrossing for 9 years, was an instructor for the New England Region of the SCCA and 2 BMWCCA chapters, and have won one SCCA National Tour event in STS http://theracesite.com/index.cfm?pag...m_article=3597

I ran a few SCR events in HS last year in a POS 84' Jetta and came in 2nd in the class for the year. I'll be at Florence either way driving one of my other cars if I can't find a ride.

I used to run in GS, but now I think I've moved to DS..? This will be my first autox in that class. Look for the dark silver Minis.
