Well a few weeks ago, I found myself on the Southbay lot because of minijclub28 and Magic8Ball's(thanks you two!) posts about Chris. While browsing the lot, low and behold, a sweet DS Mini pulls up into the lot and out comes Chris heading over to help me.
To make a super long story short (sorry Chris I know I talk a lot..) I went in the following week after my relatives left and ordered a PW/Blk MCS! I was slated for the 19th week build (May 9), but after emailing Chris after reading here on NAM about some 19 weekers already in production, he called me in the afternoon and confirmed that my Mini really is in production ahead of schedule!
Chris was a great guy to work with. Very friendly, helpful, and easy going, which made it all that much easier to shoot the breeze and figure exactly what I should order. He has been very good about returning emails and how can you not like a guy that just so happens to have a picture on his cell of his Mini with the not so ordinary wheels that I was talking about.
I will keep you guys updated on my build and how everything goes when my Mini finally makes it over here.
Awesome! Your MCS got in really early then! The sooner the better. Chris is really good at trying to accommodate you and in helping you figure out what options are truly necessary to each individual. I'm glad everything worked out so well for you and can't wait to see pictures!
