the hotel guy said he had groups from MN and from the Carolinas. If there are a bunch of us staying at the Kirkwood, we can always motor into the park together as a group. Won't be too hard to organize , just pick a time to be ready to leave, bring some FRS radios and a couple of volunteers to lead and sweep ... and you're there. Instant ralley.
Have you guys seen the invitation yet to the meet-n-greet dinner hosted by CincinnatiMINIs on 6/17? Check out their forum. I've told 'um that M2C2 will be there! This is shaping up to be a great weekend.

2002 BRG/w MC. Sport package/sunroof. Yakima roof rack in the summer, Blizzaks in the winter. Motoring since July 2002 we've seen 120 temps, -20 temps, 5 accidents and 122,296+ miles.
Greetings! Looking forward to seeing some of y'all at Skyline. For those that have never had Cincinnati Chili before, you will also be in for a treat. Just don't expect a bowl of chili you eat with a spoon!
Sounds like we should stay in Oxford, Ohio on the 17th and party with the co-eds at Miami U and ride up and down the streets of the University ? Maybe hit a few Frat parties ?
"Uptown" at Miami U. is a fun place, full of cool bars and small restaurants
Then we can zip out of there in the morning to PKI for the Italian Job Party
Red, I too am a proud graduate of Miami and would LOVE any excuse to cruise the roads of Oxford. It would have to include a stop at Skipper's pub since I used to manage it. I am currently sizing up interest our club here in Nashville, TN and will hopefully have a group to bring up as well. If anything materializes with Oxford, I'll probably partake.

As of 5/26/05, I got a call late last night from the owner of the Kirkwood Inn. They apparently have set aside 5 more rooms for our group. A total of 38 rooms. To reserve a room call 1-800-732-4741 and be sure to mention the MINI Cooper group. Please post this for those that might wish to stay
at the Kirkwood. Thanks.

Just received my tix in the mail last night - woohoo! They went straight into the glove box, hopefully that way I won't lose them. 2 weeks from today we leave!

Is anyone going to the F-1 race the next day at Indy? I seem to recall seeing a thread somewhere on that (help!) . There still are some tix available in the NW Vista.

UPDATE: For some reason Kristin from PKI called me and went over some "details" that she wanted those who ordered tickets to be aware of (I guess the PR people have to do something during the day). As noted in the link above, parking lot opens at 8:30 am. Follow the signs to the MINI parking area. Go to the front gate to get in and there will be a special events table there where we can check in and get our lanyards providing us with VIP treatement . Breakfast is 8:45 at the IJ Stunt Track and we get the first ride of the day. Car slots for display and parade are all booked. That's it.
Actually, our club covers both North and South Carolina. Anyway, have you guys thought about what you might do about breakfast on Saturday morning? You know the Kirkwood serves breakfast but with some type of breakfast included in our event, was wondering how many people will do that or eat something earlier at the hotel? We have been discussing this and think we should probably let them know something about how many they will actually have to prepare breakfast for. I know with everything else, this is probably very low on priority lists, but give this some thought and I would appreciate some feedback. If you don't mind, post your replies on the M2C2 site. Thanks. Look forward to meeting all of y'all on Friday.
