Does anyone have a newer MINI with the Nav system? They finally put back the British voice on the new system DVD, and I reeeeeealllly want to install it in Puck.
Please to let me know. Thank you.
BTW, I am willing to negotiate on bribery schemes.
Yes, the new GPS has a British accent and it's really cool. You can switch bwt the British accent, American and Spanish. The new Nav. System is much improved, as far as general info goes. Finally they have included Mini Centers and Emergency and a longer list of business address. Get it you will not be disappointed.
I had the GPS on my MCS 2003 and I was happy with it, now on my MCSC is even better.
Well yes, she sounds really cute and according to my husband, who has a nav system on his MCC, she sounds sexy... but I think he is a sucker for non American accent (I am Italian)...
Are you getting a new Mini?? you cannot instal the GPS on an existing Mini. Get a Covertible.. is so nice ...
As far as coming to DC ... did you get a Mini for motoring purpose didn't you???
I have a 2004 MINI with the Nav System (with the severe sounding Midwestern woman's voice), and it should be a matter of just updating the system software.
I think...
The convertable sound swell and fine, except that I live in Minnesota, and would rather have a sunroof 12 months out of the year than a convertable for 7 months.
I honestly don't know why I couldn't drive out to DC, to be honest. No kids, flexible work schedule, cats that mostly ignore me. I have the feeling though that my wife would take it rather poorly. "Ummm... honey, I'll be gone for a few days... maybe 4 or 5... I'll have my cell though, so give me a call while you're at work... "
Oh well. Shorter range motoring is probably a better way to make friends and influence people (ie, people who have 9-5... errr... 7-3 jobs)
