MINIsota Motoring Society - Sunday run, November 28th, 12:30pm
Want a great way to shed some of those holiday pounds - in a FUN and exciting way? Join us Sunday afternoon for a MINI run! There isn't a better way to exercise your right leg and arms than driving your MINI!
We'll meet at the Original Pancake House parking lot in Wayzata at 12:30 (Get there early if you want to have breakfast!). From there we'll cruise 101 and head around Lake Minnetonka and possibly grab a bite to eat for dinner.
Join us for the whole thing or just the drive or just the dinner! We'd love to see you there. We'll also be meeting a fellow motorer from Colorado who is in town for the holiday - I'm sure his MINI will run much better here in the lower altitude! he he.
Thank you to Julie and Tiff and whoever else was involved with the
planning of yesterday's run. We had a record turnout with about 15
MINIs! The route was fun and wasn't terribly long either.
There were lots of people on the side of the road who were waving and
smiling and of course pointing to their favorite color as we drove by
in a long snake-like line.
And of course, no run is complete without a U-turn! We had one this
time out and then went to Sunsets in Wayzata for lunch and caught the
Vikings win.
Thanks to everyone who showed up and I apologize for not saying "Hi"
to everyone!!
