Getting "Worked Up"

Hey all! Molly goes in this Saturday to have some "minor work" done. She'll be at Motorwerks BMW the whole week getting her Works kit along with some other goodies. It's going to be tough going a week without her. *sigh*

Yep, we're getting a loaner. We actually ordered the kit with the car when we ordered back in May (collected in August). But since the kit wasn't in, they said we would have to bring it back. Before we signed the paperworkI told them that we would have to drop the car off on a Saturday and come back the next weekend (since we live 2.5 hours from the dealer) and we would need a courtesy car. They agreed.

We're also having some other work done next week while she's there.

The factory screwed up our dash and gave us Alloy Patina when we ordered Anthracite. So they will be retrofitting an Anthracite dash. The factory also messed up and didn't give us a MFSW when we ordered one. So they are retrofitting that as well next week. It will be like having a whole new car!

Good to hear things are finally working out for you. Are you getting your CD player fixed too then?

Yes! We will finally have a CD Player that works. We can't wait. It's been a rough couple of months. It will just be nice to have everything done.

Oh, I managed to find a 36mm socket that fits at the Sears in Maplewood Mall. They had 3 left after I bought mine on Saturday.

Thanks for the heads-up on the 36 - been meaning to get one for a little while now.

Getting closer all the time

Sometime I'd love to hear your JCW. They've never had one in when I've been to Motorwerks. Just seen the purty pictures.

Puck:

You're in WBL. Stacy's parents are in Vadnais Heights. We should get together for lunch some weekend when Stacy and I are up in the Cities. We could even meet up, take a blast down to Stillwater (via Dellwood or Hwy 95?) and get lunch at Brine's.

See "we need to organize" thread.

Or maybe we should start a specific thread for play dates.

Love the idea of a run to Stillwater. Osceola is a great drive too, and there's some kind of... umm... book thing there... It used to be dangerous for me, but since I already own everything Motorbooks has with the word MINI in it...
