looking good, very good improvement from last year. shame about chicago region. if you ever want to run a little further south, ccscc (rantoul il) hosts about 10-12 events per year at the rantoul aviation center. decent site, concrete but pretty broken up. very good drivers there.
That doesn't look like murder to me. What tires and at what pressures are you using may I ask? And thanks for the run - that was fun!
Cheers,
Charlie
I'm running ZII's. The pressure is high due to the rollover I experienced at Rte 66. I was running 42 in the front and 45 in the rear.

I'll have to look into that. I'm leaving the region at the end of June but have a lot going on each weekend until then. I'll see if they fit into my schedule at all.
All four winners are from the MidWest region too :-) I was the only MidWest region Mini not to win his class lol. But I did get the Coupe within 2 seconds of a K-swapped Honda. It's progress...
I'm on Hoosiers. I know Craig in STX was on the new BFG Rival-S. Wilcox raw timed all of us in SMF on his street tires! Jeremy in STF I think had the new Rival-S also.
Reno in HS was on RE-11s. They didn't like the heat later in the day according to the drivers.
I think Ron W in DS was on Rivals too.

Reason: reflect correct classes
video from today's event in WDCR- Car is an '03 R53, with minor prep for STX. Class has a lot of local competition, but I got lucky and pulled out a 3rd place finish today!!
And here is the tale of the last regular season points event up here in New England. Gollum III has earned a spot in the Stirling Moss run-offs coming up soon!
Last few events - I've improved in the very recent - I'm not sure why, not sure what changed. Maybe doing a PDX in my other car helped, but something has changed... Thought it might have been a fluke but I did it again yesterday. The runs don't even look that good but I'm going at least half a second to a full second faster than I was just a handful of events ago. From watching older videos it just looks like I'm pushing harder.. still a lot of work to do on line etc though
