You will find some Chattanooga MINIs on the Atlanta site. They Chattanooga folks that have participated with the Atlanta group are organizing themselves for a little local fun. You will find them here at http://atlantaminis.net/ They are chatting together down in the Scenic City MINIs section.
Sorry, I didn't give you the full info. The section for them is on the message board. There should be a link on the atlantaminis.net website to the message board. You will have to create a login to view the board. Once you can see it, there is a section for the Chattanooga group. They just started up.
I saw your post on MM. I post as goCasper on MM and have multiple classic Minis as well as two MINIs.
Let me know if you still aren't able to figure out where they are chatting.

yeah I owned a 62 and a 65 S, I miss those cars, I can only have one car and it needed to be a every day driver car so I had to compromise some, so the new MINI works.
April 2006!! That's the date that I'll finally be back in beautiful Chattanooga. After 7 years of being in Germany (2 in Iraq), it'll be great to take my Mini on it's first state-side drive.

If you see a Jet Black/White Cooper with Pennsylvania tags [RSD MINI] in the area on Monday ..... that will be me .... the Yankee .... motoring from The Dragon to Columbus, GA by way of Lookout Mountain and other nearby battlefields!
Sounds like a fun trip Steve. I hope you enjoy it. We were going to try to get over to the Dragon this weekend but work is calling and I can't shut it up.
By the way, anyone in the Chattanooga area is welcome to drive up to our summer picnic at Fall Creek Falls from the south. Here is the info:
Fall Creek Falls Drive and Picnic
Saturday, August 13
Picnic Shelter #5
The drive will follow Hwy 70 past Rockwood, past Ozone Falls (with a little) stop, on to Crab Orchard, Crossville and Fall Creek Falls. A meeting point and time for the drive will be announced at a later date.
Some of the Nashville club are planning a drive of their own to meet and eat with us there. After we eat, we may have a wiffle ball game or play some croquet. I heard something out of Nashville about bonnet stripes on the croquet balls. And of course, we will need to enjoy the scenic area.
Plan on having a jolly MINI and Mini time.
To aid us in having a fun and relaxing picnic I have arranged with FCF catering for a hamburger and hot dog lunch. They will provide food, drinks dessert, and all the necessary fixings and paperware. We just show up and eat. Lunch time is not set at this moment but will probably be around 12:30PM
Including tax and gratuity the meal will cost $10.75. I need to have an RSVP and funds paid for the meal by Monday, August 1st. You can mail a check or pay by paypal (email me for details), or you can pay at the next club meeting on July 26th.
Karen from Nashville suggested that we bring additional dessert, snacks or fruit to share and enjoy after our activities before leaving for home.
I hope you will come and enjoy the day with many of your MiNi friends.
