Part One: Show off vewy scawy Meanies in a vewy slow drive up and down the Parkway in Gatlinburg.
Part Two: Regroup and tour twisted backroads with a music CD designed to enhance the darkness.
I've been asking around if BOO was going to happen again this year; great to hear it's coming again. Sheroyn and I (and Ms. TILLEY) came up with some of the M2C2 group (headed by DOC last year), and we really enjoyed it. The final parade down the drag was 'some'n else'!!! I just e-mail Doc and I think he's up for coming again. Got in recommendations where a group of us could spend the weekend? Do you think you'll get permission to do the drag again this year? Are you starting a list of possible attendees here? How many are you expecting? Maybe you could post of the motoring alliance site also. Keep us posted; pretty short fuse. Thanks.
Glad to hear you are coming back.......we didn't scare you off. We are looking for a motel now that is doggie friendly for Art so hang tight just a bit.
And yes, the group drive up the Parkway is planned. I give 'em "treats" every year and we get our escort.
If you want to post up some on other sites where you post with a link to our information you are welcome to. We've had as many as about 40 and as few as 15 on this run with cars from KY, GA, SC, NC and AL.
Floyd and I plan on being there. Will probably do BOZO again...but maybe I can dig up a Bozo outfit for the driver as well (I don't do scary clowns). We're looking forward to it. Last year was a blast.
Locals (little advice here):
Any (nice enough) motels 'on' the strip with parking lots to dress (the cars) in?? Is Rodway Inn or Mid-town still around? How 'bout back on the by-pass rode, running along the creek (with balconies facing out over the stream); seems like one was named 'Edge Water or Waters Edge'??? I think we'll come up Friday and enjoy the weekend; return Sunday.
ARe you talking about dressing them as a group? Most of the hotels right in that area have very littel parking lot along the roadways. They twist and wind around into the backs of the hotels.
I really just meant for those who were staying there. If you could, would you start a list of those coming on the main announcement; that'll help see who might be interested in staying at the same hotel. Still would like some suggested hotel names from locals; nice, clean, close (would be great to be along the back stream)??
Hey all
If Donna hasn't heard any bad press on this place, Lissa wants to try this place....http://www.midtownlodge.com/. What do you all think? If we can get 10 rooms we may be able to get a discount. They asked us to say we were with the MINI Boo run sponsored by Smoky Mountain MINI's.
Look forward to seeing everyone.

Yes, there is to be a Boo Run this year. It will be Saturday, Oct 30t. Details are not quite finalized yet. Check our website www.smokymountainminiclub.com for updates and I will send you a PM also.
I've never done the Boo Run but I've heard wonderful things about it. One questions, is it Saturday or Sunday, October 30 or 31? Both dates are posted here.
Thanks
