Wanna try some cra...um, I mean track? Wanna see how well you and your MINI play together? Ever wanted to try some track in a safe, controlled, environment? Wanna meet a bunch of other folks with similar interests? Wanna, have a great time, hang by the pool, drink some cold ones, and have a weekend you'll never forget?
Well, come join me and 100 or so of my track buddies and friends in Savannah, GA in November with DarkSide DE.
So far, Scenic City MINI's and Tar Heel MINI's have a showing, but we'd like more of you to join us. Jackie and company run one of the most laid back DE weekends you will every have the opportunity to be a part of. There are different run groups. Never done track before? No worries, instructors are available. Unsure about what group to be in? Jackie can help you with that. We like to get a small caravan going down early the Friday before. We usually head into Savannah with some of the other folks, visit the old haunted brewery for a few cold ones, then head back to the hotel for tech, pizza and beer. Saturday after the last cars are off the track, we do a dinner and usually live music at the track. Novemeber is Savannah is really nice weather......come on, sign up.....you know you want to.....

We have 72 on the roster (one is shy and won't show his name - but he drives a Dodge) and Ralph and I are on the roster - and we hardly take up any space at all...
Meanwhile, our last event had a roster of 132, of which 6 were Taste of the track folks - meaning 126 were divided into the 5 run groups... fun, fun, fun.
Anyway - MINIs are always welcome - we enjoy everyone who knows how to play nice.
Dinner this November is Al's homecooking (meaning Italian food) and our CDI, Serge is making dessert for all!!!
I hope y'all consider attending - if you have any questions - I guess I am the one to ask - I'll get you an answer.
Back in 2001 - we would have told you our cap was 100...
I think in 2006 we finally said 110
But we've gotten much better being on schedule, having good groups and running them around the track... so we could take in a few more.
I only have had 1 person tell me - yucky - but he got use to running with organizations that couldn't get anyone to come out and play with them - so he had lots of space on the track...
