I think it would be nice if the 20 most recent topics were posted instead of 5. I think its a small number, thus making us all fight to keep our recent topics up there. Does anyone else agree with me on this one?

Just my argument, 2 minutes in the 5 most recent topics, and now its gone from that list. Thats why I posted this new message, thats why I think this 5 recent topics list should be changed to at least 20 or more. Thanks

I thought that 5 recent topics were not enough as well...that lead to the development of the Pulse where you can see the last 15 recent topics along with other any other important topics we need to inform everyone of. Now that the traffic of the site is high the question I would like to ask is if 15 is enough or would it be useful to have 20,25, or 30 listed in the Pulse? Thanks!

25 please

I'm not sure how hard it is, but it might be nice to offer two versions of the PULSE - including one that did not show recent posts from Off Topic. Just a thought.

Good point. Would it be beneficial to exclude Off-topic posts from the 5 most recent topics as well?

Not show OFF TOPIC!

I feel discriminated against!

Maybe I better post in a wider range of forums?

Dave,
Good idea on the addition to the Forums block. Let me look into what is needed to implement this and I might be able to get it in this week. Thanks!

I was not aware of this pulse option, thanks for the advice. I love the idea of placing a link to the pulse right on the forums square. Yes, I think the 25 most recent would be great. Thanks for all your replies, I love this site!
