I think that it might be a good idea to add a testing forum as well as a Help forum for people just signing on.

For instance, I am testing my new sig here right now. . .

YuccaPatrol,
I played around a bit trying to see if the system will allow colors and I haven't found a way yet. I'll ponder this and see if I can think of a way to do it.

Regarding a test forum I'd prefer not to create another forum since it may create some confusion. That said, the way I test things is as follows:
- go to Site Feedback forum (like you did)
- post your test
- after testing delete your posts (just go into the thread your created, click on the paper and pencil icon under each post, and select delete post.

Hope that helps.

Mark

Mark,

There is a problem with that last part.

The "delete post" option is only available to people that have moderator privledges in that particular forum. For instance, I have a delete post option in MINI Talk, Beneath the Bonnet, Marketplace, and Rocky Mountain. However, if I edit my own post in Off Topic, I don't have that delete post option.

Dave

YuccaPatrol: if it's just a signature test, change your account settings for your signature and then view any previous thread you have posted to. Your most current signature will be loaded in. So there isn't a need to start a new thread, as you can see the signature update in the old ones.

I could be wrong, but I think the delete post option may be available to us common folk on any thread until another post is made to the thread. I know I've been able to delete a few of my own test posts in the past.

Does anyone know how to find your past posts? I post questions, and forget to go back and find them. How can I do this?
