Making NAM Tapatalk enabled
I would like to use tapatalk on NAM. I tend to access NAM mostly from my iPhone. It makes it easier to access the real meat of the forums which are the threads and images. It's free for admin to put on the site so I hope it is not too much to ask. Any thoughts?

I'll check...yes
FAQ from Forum Owner:
Q: How much does it cost?
A: As a forum owner you are free to activate Tapatalk in your forum, and you are free to remove/deactivate it anytime you want to. A free version of the app is also available. There is a paid version at US$2.99 for iPhone, Android, Nokia (BlackBerry version is in beta and is currently free).
Q: Which forum system does it currently support?
A: Currently phpBB3 3.0.x, vBulletin 3.7.x/3.8.x/4.0.x, Invision Power Board (IPB) 3.0.x and Simple Machine Forum (SMF) 1.1.x/2.0.x are supported.

Hi, we are well aware of Tapatalk, however we have decided not to install it in our sites because it demands users pay a fee if they want to actually interact with their community. We have made it our number 1 priority to provide our own mobile application which will work across platforms and not charge users a fee to post.
I don't have a definite timeframe on this project, but I can assure you it is of the highest priority, we are getting requests like this one in almost every forum.
cheers,
robb

Maybe you guys should install TapaTalk
I run a MMA site called MMACrypt.com and I installed TapaTalk a while ago on it. It's real simple code to just plug in but it makes our site much better using a phone. It's a cheap app on the phone side and free on the server side but just thought I would mention it.
We will be ordering a mini by the end of the week and this seems to be the best mini forum out there for me. Nicely built and a respectful bunch.
Thanks guys
Brian

DOH, gotcha and sorry to start a new thread. I thought mine got removed for some reason.
Which version of Vbull are you running, I think Tapa goes back to 3.6.
Ok, I just went up are read the Thread, looks like you guys are on 3.6.1 and at the time, Tapa only went back to 3.7.
Now Tapa is saying 3.6 is covered also.
I have it on my site and I would say anywhere from 20 to 40% of the posts come in via Tapa now.

It loads quickly. It has everything sized to fit correctly on the screen. It makes photo attachments to posts very easy to view on mobile. The overall experience is just more comfortable. There was a free version that you could try out (read but not post from)... but now I'm not seeing it on the App Store.

It's not even close. If I removed it from my site, I think they would lynch me in a second. Here's an example of what it looks like. IMO, it's the best way to view a forum from a phone but it's not all positive. Most of the mods meaning forum addons won't work. I don't think you can vote in polls and such. On my site, I have a betting bookie for fights and it doesn't work for it. But if it's built into Vbull stock, tapa handles it really well. I think they have also updated it recently but I haven't updated the server side of it yet but I think it has even more features now.
It really is good for reg members but I still have to connect non-tapa to mod or admin my site. And it's really, really easy to install on the server side, I just updated my site now that I'm thinking about it.
