Figures...
I didn't pay enough attention. I bought Tapatalk knowing that I had used it before(android) so I bought it again(iPhone) for this blog. I saw it was vBulletin, and assumed it would work.
Sorry for the assumption. Hope you enable this feature soon. Seems like it would be a nice option for mobile users. Leave the choice of $$ up to us.
Anyway, thank you for building a great community. Please add better mobile access.
Thank you,
me

I combined a few threads requesting a mobile app here to help centralize the discussion and bolster the momentum; these requests do get passed along to Internet Brands and I have been told progress is being made toward a solution that will help mobile users while not hurting the experience of desktop users.

I've owned a forum before, and have another one now, both vBulletin. One of the first things we did with both boards is install Tapatalk. I'm not sure which version of vBulletin this forum is using, and I'm not sure why the powers that be haven't upgraded if it is an older version. Once on a more current version Tapatalk is easy to install and does nothing to hurt performance of the site. I'm not trying to stir any pots, just asking legitimate questions. I'd like to get more involved on this forum, and would like to use Tapatalk as it's a tad harder to use on Safari on my iPhone.
Thanks

The problem is branding. All these forums want their own app so they can feel cool. Thing is, I don't want a different app for each forum I visit. I want one app to read all my forums. The branded app thing may seem like a good idea, but it is just an annoyance and hinderance to people trying to visit and participate in the site from the increasingly more common mobile device.
Site Mods: Please give your users what they want and install some of the many available plugins for forum viewers, such as tapatalk and forum runner. It takes moments to do so, and will benefit many while causing harm to none. And please don't go for the branded version of the above plugins that don't work with the main app. That is a waste of your time and money, and ours.

I'm new here, so I'm sure my opinion doesn't offer much weight, but it sure would be nice to have this tapatalk enabled. Even if they're doing their own thing (Autoguide does), as long as it's similar (autoguide and tapatalk are very similar).
Just makes the sites so much easier to navigate. I'm sure most of us are on multiple forums, and most of those are using some sort of tapatalk like app to browse. Would be nice if this did as well.
