Nav Bar Calendar Data Dump

I didn't see another thread out there on this topic so I'm going to start one.

I first noticed around 3pm EST today that the "Main Menu" navigation bar seems to be broken or has been changed in a manner that seems to be a step in a horrible direction. I'm not sure if this is only a problem I am experiencing but I've tried it on multiple computers at work and home with consistent results. Previously the Main Menu section ended with "Log Out" and then displayed the advert for the Calendar and the Latest Topics section. However now it seems to be dumping a large number of NAM Calendar items directly into the Main Menu.

Is this intentional? Can it be fixed?
