Has anyone ever noticed that the numbers on your posts are often duplicated? Meaning that you may have more than one post with the same number. Why, how can this happen?
What do you mean? Are you referring to the number at the top right of each individual post? As in - #1 for your post above, and #2 on mine here?
If so, that is just the post number within that thread.
Or are you referring to the number after "Posts:", right below your location? If so, that's the total number of posts you have made on the site, and it dynamically updates (it's part of your profile, just like your signature, so it changes everywhere you have posted at the same time).
