Thread Issues

OK, I have been having this problem for quite sometime. I haven't said anything until now so I can try to get a grasp on the problem.

I have my settings to view threads in "thread mode".

I use the Prev Next to navigate through the threads. But if I get to the tree where it is marked "More replies below current depth..." then I get booted back to the original post

If a thread has X number of posts (I'm thinking it's greater than 35) and I click on the "Next" post once I have reached this magic number I get booted back to the original post.

So in short I can NOT view any post on a large thread past the "Magic Number" unless I switch views.

Is anybody else having this problem? Can some of you that may not use the "thread mode" switch and try it on a large thread please?

Also note this occurs using IE or Firefox so it's not the browser.
