Multiple e-mail notifications of new posts?

For those of you that have your account configured to send you an e-mail whenever there's a new post in one of your subscribed threads, do you ever get multiple notifications when a single new post is added?

It only started earlier this week for me. Most times, I only get one notification e-mail, but a few times a day, I'll get two notifications regarding the same new post. Both e-mails have the same time/date stamp on them, and they're both being sent to the same e-mail address. I don't know if the problem is with the NAM software or Apple's e-mail server.

It's not a big deal unless it starts doing it every time, but I was wondering if this was happening to anyone else.

Happens to me too! I frequently get duplicate emails from subscribed threads.

I use to get this a lot. I turned off the option and just use the subscribed threads sections on the site directly.

I've been getting this for some time now. Started with an occasional double email, then increased to quite a few doubles and an occasional triple. Just a few minutes ago I got my first quadruple!

What is up???!!! It drives me crazy to the point that I'm ready to unsubscribe to all email notifications. Hopefully the powers-to-be can fix this soon ...pretty please?

I wonder how many members have this problem. I know it persists for some of us though as I've personally seen double, triple and quadruple notifications even today, so I reported it to IB.

Someone flipped a switch (so to speak) and it looks like this problem is no more. If you're still getting multiples (or if they start up again) please post here.

thanks - steve
