As I'm moving around the site, pages are getting slow to load again and some will not load completely.
Is anyone else having this problem?
FYI: started around 9:30-10:00pm (Central) and I'm in SE Missouri in case that helps(thinking of the previous thread on this topic)

IE7 and my other computer running Linux/Firefox. It took about 15 minutes to start/post this thread last night so I gave up when it finally posted.

Same problem Sloooooooow!.
Usually just timed out.
Or, if a page started to load it took so long that I would refresh and then it would just time out.
Sat night 9:30pm multiple times right after the Thread was locked
Sunday night random times.
I finally just gave up on trying to use the site again until now.

Slower again here today in Hooterville. Not as bad as the last time when the NAM supercharger belt broke. This time it's more like NAM has a slipping clutch.
I've been having slow issues off and on for a few days now. My other hang outs weren't effected so I figured it must be NAM. Glad to hear that it's being looked into.
Very slow here in St. louis also all day today. When pages finally load, there are several missing graphics (like some of the smilies to the right of this window as I type).

This site is getting so slow, it feels like Dial-up.

Okay it took over 45 seconds to load this thread sot that i could make a complaint.
Then after it loaded the thread i clicked on the quote button of the last post. It took 27 seconds to bring up the reply box so that i could start typing.
none of the other forums i frequent are this slow in fact they all run at only a 1/2 second to load a thread and show its posts
WHEN IS THIS GOING TO BE FIXED. This has been happening for almost a week now This is way bad and i guess i will just have to go hang out somewhere else for a while and let all the people here suffer and not get the benefit of my knowledge. That is so sad.

First - apologizes for the slow server time you will have experienced yesterday, and so far today as well. We are still currently troubleshooting as to what is the cause, and endeavor to have the site back up and running at full steam as soon as we can.
Tested from 8 different locations arround the US all are equally slow appears that the problem is either in the last hop into your data center / colo or the server itself

Looks like they moved NAM from LA to NJ.
Yesterday the IP was 67.201.16.207, today it's 66.45.254.244
Might take a little time for DNS to propagate to all the corners of the web.

I'm still showing the 67.201.16.207 address when I access the site. I have the Firefox plugin that shows the website's IP address. Maybe they are redirecting some of the traffic.

Funny, started out as not an issue, but members are questioned, then it is an issue, and from the time it took me to get this page to load, I figure it is still an issue. Here I thought being consistent was the big issue.
Oh. by the way, excuses don't sell web sites, consistent performance does.
